Liability Information: Ramsey Legacy, LLC (DBA Ramsey Legacy Moving) will fix or correct any damages caused by our company during the moving of any piece of furniture or item. Please note we document only major damages to furniture/items before receiving items from a company. It is the hiring individual/company's responsibility to declare the condition of items being picked up with Ramsey Legacy, LLC before we pick up items. All items picked up without a declaration of conditions will be picked up under the assumption of the item being picked up is in ASIS condition (small scraps, dents, chips, scratches, etc). We will inspect the items to make sure the declared conditions of the items match the current state of the item before receiving it. Ramsey Legacy, LLC (DBA Ramsey Legacy Moving) will not remove boxing or packing material to inspect the condition of an item unless otherwise told by the client to do so. Please keep us aware of any fragile or item valued over $1000 so we can make a special note. Ramsey Legacy, LLC has the right to refuse to move or transport any item without proper knowledge ahead of time (condition of item, value, fragile conditions, not enough packing materials, damaged). Any damage to property at a client's address will need to be addressed before our company leaves the residence that day so we can document or respond to the damages. We will not be responsible for property previously damaged or structural issues with the property such as loose, fragile, previously damaged, or otherwise in an unfit condition for weight to be moved on the surface. Ramsey Legacy, LLC, and contracted labor will only move items or assemble/disassemble items. Ramsey Legacy, LLC, and contracted labor in no condition will modify a home in any way including hanging TVs, pictures, wall fixtures, unhook or plug any device into a home. Please have these items ready to be moved by the properly skilled technician. Ramsey Legacy, LLC, and contracted labor are not trained in assembling or disassembling certain specialized items that might require a skilled/company technician to put together. We are not responsible for any damages that might occur if the hiring individual/company wants us to proceed with assembly/disassembly of any specialized piece of equipment (exercise equipment, mechanical beds, specialized outdoor furniture, refrigerators, washing machines/dryers, or any other specialized piece of equipment) as these items need a specialized mover or company to move properly. All risk is assumed by the hiring individual/company if they want to proceed with moving such items with our company with the knowledge our company is not trained and will not be liable for damages to items.
